AI Session for Inter-College Students

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the way we learn, work, communicate, and solve problems across almost every field. With AI becoming an increasingly important part of the modern world, understanding its fundamentals and exploring the opportunities it creates can help students make informed choices about their academic and professional journeys. The “AI Pathways” session was designed as an interactive and engaging introduction to Artificial Intelligence for inter-college students at the beginning of their academic journey. The session focused on explaining AI in a simple, jargon-free manner—covering what Artificial Intelligence is, how AI systems learn, how generative AI works, and how AI has evolved into an everyday technology.

The programme moved from fundamental concepts to practical applications, demonstrating how AI is already being used across areas such as healthcare, education, technology, communication, and everyday digital services. Students were introduced to the growing impact of AI and how these technologies are changing the way different industries operate. A key focus of the session was helping students understand the career pathways emerging in Artificial Intelligence. Discussions explored different roles and opportunities within the AI ecosystem and highlighted the importance of developing foundational skills in areas such as programming, data, mathematics, problem-solving, and AI tools at an early stage.

The session also encouraged students to think beyond simply using AI tools and to understand the technologies behind them, their potential applications, and the opportunities they can create in the future. The programme concluded with an interactive Q&A session, giving students the opportunity to ask questions, clarify their doubts, and discuss their interests and aspirations in AI. The “AI Pathways” session was conducted at G.I.C. Baroda Hinduwan, Hapur, under the banner of Hypercube ASAP Foundation, with the aim of promoting technology awareness, encouraging curiosity about Artificial Intelligence, and helping students explore the academic and career opportunities emerging in this rapidly evolving field.
